A bishop, iman, monk, pandit, minister, rabbit, lama, and a guru walk into a bar. They rubbed their heads and said ouch wondering why it was so low across the doorway. They enter and take their assigned seats as dictated by the personalized placards hanging from the back of each of the chairs surrounding a large circular mahogany table. The table and chairs were clearly crafted long ago and signs abound of the weathering they have withstood over centuries at the hands of the natural force of bipeds. Already seated were a deacon, a sant, a tribal elder, a daoshi, and a pir. The barkeep greets everyone with a pleasant smile and asks for their drink orders and upon going clockwise through the new arrivals and reaching the rabbit, he is met with a rather sarcastic, "I have no flopping idea my good man, damn that blasted auto-correct again!" And with that he hops out the tavern door just as it is opened by a rabbi joined by a wiccan, an empiricist, a shaman, a vedic, a shengren, a bhikkuni, a theorist, an astronomer, and a cosmologist. They all take their places and after the drinks and appetizers are enjoyed the theorist stands up and taps his carafe of lager with his spoon twice before declaring, "Thank you everyone for accepting my invitation to join me here tonight. I know that some of you have travelled far to be here tonight, and I will do everything within my power to make certain you will not regret investing the time." I bring you here tonight to discuss faith. Faith means many different things to many different people at many different times in their lives but in all instances, what makes it faith is an inherent and unshakable belief that something unproven is true. I state now that faith and conviction do not require divinity, and anyone can have faith in most anything. The question at hand in this day and age is where is that faith most deserving? Where shall we place our blind acceptance of truth on something unknown?" The empiricist interrupted and questioned if the diatribe came with any hard proof that what was about to be preached had empirical evidence and predictions it could fulfil? The theorist assured everyone that in good time they would clearly see all the evidence that has been right in front of their eyes the whole time. The theorist continued, "If you can accept with the same fervor that some of you reserve for "blind faith in a creator", the possibility that our entire vast Universe is in fact infinite and begin to really examine what the implications of such a truth might mean, I am certain you will come to the same conclusions that I have. Once you learn to shift the concept of eternal energy from a personification of that energy required to be a first action or first cause and instead accept no first action and no first cause and an infinite succession of prior collapsing wave functions, then we see that the creation itself and the creator may in fact be one. Infinite energy that has always existed and can never truly be created or destroyed. Energy moving in waves that makes up not just everything we can see and hear and touch but also the actual waves of energy producing the light and sounds and resistance that in turn allows us to see and hear and feel everything. Energy always in flux and never at rest and eternally infinite and infinitely eternal. Accept that with faith and all of a sudden, everything else begins to fall into place! So many of the mysteries surrounding our current paradigms in fact have rather logical classical-relativistic solutions when we toggle the starting premise of an infinite Universe from speculation to foundation. So my first leap of faith that I now ask of everyone seated around this beautiful round table is to accept the possibility that if the Universe is infinite then energy is the fifth dimension! If it was not for the fifth dimension, there would be no vacuum energy nor quantum fields and once science reexamines the nature of spacetime to incorporate a dimension of energy we can begin to see the flaws in our current paradigms and the simple patches that can be applied to strengthen them back up again. But energy never travels alone. Where energy goes mass always follows and so our 4D Minkowski spacetime does not just intersect the line of energy, it intersects the plane of massenergy. Once we begin to look at the Universe in terms of the first 6 dimensions of existence where time is the first dimension followed by three spatial dimensions then the dimensions of energy and mass we can begin to see that maybe we were hasty in our prior interpretations of realty. If anything, our limited understanding of quantum weirdness (until now) should have left us questioning whether it was ever correct to make two very bold assumptions and then base so many additional theories on these faulty assumptions. Wave particle duality should have triggered more questions about the nature of the medium that energy uses to travel. To know as much as we knew about wave mechanics and then to decide there could exist waves that require no medium was a very bold assumption to make if you ask me. Instead, a subquantum realm far far smaller than the electron neutrino could exist. Instead of the trillions of neutrinos that pass through your body every second there could be quintillions of quantum foams providing the medium those waves ride upon also passing through everything and permeating all of spacetime around us. If so then those interactions both repulsive and attractive all happening at levels we can't see would be predicted to cause instances where those waves of energy manifesting as light or particles would deviate off the normal course their momentum is carrying them along. A vast sea of undetectable subquantum foam where fractions of mass possibly trillions of times smaller than an electron neutrino moving at the speed of light take on the form of energy relative to us. And as that energy slows down the moment it falls below the speed of light relative to us we would see it behave as a particle and the wave function collapses. Particles of mass manifested by the resonance of energy caused by speed of smaller mass. That endless cycle of mass creating energy creating mass is why we would predict electromagnetic radiation might alternate between the production of an electric field and magnetic field and create a harmonic frequency that in turn lets the amplitude of that wave, its deviation from equilibrium or its lowest energy state, dictate the amount of energy that wave can carry. The greater the disturbance in spacetime from its lowest energy state, the stronger that wave regardless of what that wave's medium is. All waves require a medium and waves are how energy moves. Energy that makes up everything as it vibrates and even the light that lets us see that everything all moving in waves of energy inside a dimension of energy and dimension of mass. Our quantum fields that science uses in quantum field theory are just a fancy term for a dimension of energy and where waves of energy at different frequencies can take on different properties at the moment they are forced to slow down below the speed of light. The higgs field is a dimension of mass and the higgs boson is tied to how mass and energy behave as they break the subquantum realm and enter the quantum realm. The only difference being the degree of precision of the instruments we use to record the measurements and limitations in those precisions both in magnification and fractions of time that define how deep into the subquantum realm we may ever be able to see so we may have no choice but to accept on faith that quantum fields are not just magically appearing out of nowhere and mass does not just magically appear out of nowhere. When we accept an infinite Universe of which all we can see is but a point in time and space, we see how an infinite number of nested pockets of relative spacetime massenergy is what makes up our multiverse. No smallest particles of matter thus all waves have their required medium including the electromagnetic waves of energy that let us see and the quantum waves that of energy that let us touch. So I now propose that you each write down three questions and we will collect all the questions from everyone. For today's meeting we will focus on any questions that have 3 or more people asking them and some later date we may get back to the other questions. Once we find all the questions that have been asked 3 or more times we will then have a group vote for which question best expressed the full sentiment of the question at hand and those shall be the primary focus of today's discussions. Time passed as each guest took their time coming up with the three questions that most troubled them. Those top three questions that they most longed to know the true answer to. They continued to eat and drink and socialize and the variety of appetizers from around the world was truly amazing. There must have been food from at least thirty different cultures represented in the evening's festivities. One by one they handed in their papers and the questions were tallied then the top questions all voted on to pick the best phrased one of each. Here is the questions that they came up with. What is the true nature of space and time and how are they impacted by mass and energy? How does understanding the nature of space and time help visualize the structure of the "real multiverse"? How does obtaining a clear picture of the structure of our multiverse in turn help clearly predict the most likely chain of cosmic events that directly led to the creation of our visible universe? How does understanding the sequence of cosmic events that created our visible portion of the Universe in turn help explain what causes dark energy and how does that knowledge in turn provide a clear picture of why it predicts a variable rate that increases over time? How does comprehending the nature of spacetime in turn help explain the cause of wave particle duality. How does explaining wave particle duality in turn help explain quantum superposition and quantum tunneling and thus provide a clear understanding of the implications of the collapsing wave function? What is the single building block that makes up everything? What is the single force that drives everything? What is a dimension and how many dimensions do we live in? What are alternate realities and parallel universes? What are the most likely causes for dark matter? What is inside the event horizon of a black hole? What is the reason the Fermi Paradox exists and why have we not yet found evidence of extraterrestrial sentient life out in space? The theorist or as some may say the cosmic philosopher was very happy with the choices made and smiled as the process proceeded. When the final questions were laid out the theorist stood up and smiled. This is an amazing list you have put together and I am ready to delve right in and start tackling each question to show you how that simple tiny change made at the very foundation of every branch of science can make everything so much simpler. The cosmologist who was very eager to hear the answers to these questions chimed in. "What tiny change to the very foundation of all the branches of science are you referring to again?" Well, there is a paradox that science has created for itself and it rests at the very foundation of every branch of science. We understand the Universe to be flat and likely infinite but we don't start off each house of cards, each paradigm of science, each standard model, with that base premise. Instead more often we start each foundation of the different standard models of science with the premise of some type of boundary to space or start of time solely because we can't prove its really infinite. We leave the possibility of infinite time and infinite space more as speculation instead of premise and that mistake is why I stand here today. When we toggle the core assumption at the base foundation of all the standard models to embrace the implications of an infinite Universe instead of cower from them, it is literally amazing the number of mysteries of science that unravel at our feet just by applying common sense, classical-relatvistic physics, critical analysis of documented observations, and an open mind.
